I was born and raised in southern California. I served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico City, Mexico and subsiquently learned Spanish there. I went to school in Utah for 7 years and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, as well as earning my JD and Masters of Accounting. I then moved to Washington, DC and attended Georgetown University earning my LLM in tax with an emphasis in estate tax. I now live in California making custom surfboards to those that enjoy the waves.
